Vallotton brothers, Rouse and Hugh, founded Vallorbe Incorporated in 1951. Its’ purpose was the management of personal and family property. Created as a result of the sale and development of an early farm location connected with Vallotton Dairy the company has shown bright promise towards future real estate endeavors. Growth has continued throughout Lowndes County as well as surrounding locations primarily in the Southeast. Through these structured growth tactics the life of the family farm was enabled to prosper until the early nineties.

Woodstone Apartments, Valdosta’s first large apartment complex, also grew from previously worked land of the Farm’s. Across the street from Woodstone, Commercial properties were developed to offer businesses suites along highly traveled Park Avenue.

Vallorbe has since sold Woodstone and has reinvested in other real estate markets.

The Forest Park Center, county farm property, and various residential/commercial Properties, including newly acquired properties in Remerton and cottages adjacent to the University, owned by the company or family members, continue to be managed solely by Vallorbe, Inc. Steady controlled growth in newly emerging markets is the sole focus of Vallorbe and with the continued devotion and respect shown towards our customers this goal is well within reach.

Vallorbe, Inc. celebrated its’ 50th anniversary in 2001, and looks forward to continued success in the further development of surrounding communities.
